The Polarization Beam Combiner/ Splitter is a compact lightwave component that combines two orthogonal polarization signals into the output fiber. The optical device is manufactured using SMF-28, HI1060 Fiber or PM Panda fiber to suit different requirements. It is widely used in EDFA or Raman Amplifer systems. They have low insertion loss, high extinction ratio, excellent uniformity and stability.
